Matt Wilson is a Kansas City resident with a passion for cycling. Matt is on a mission to get more kids riding bikes in the Kansas City area.
“I have been riding mountain bikes for 20+ years. I have participated with Team in Training for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). I trained with a local group and rode my first century ride around Lake Tahoe several years ago…100 miles with elevation! It was a blast! I have been a SoleMate to raise funds for Girls on the Run. I belong to a local team called The Warthogs and we ride at bike charity events to benefit The American Diabetes Association (ADA)”
“I am excited to get more kids outside within our communities. Our Kansas City cycling community continues to grow on and off the trails. We have many trail systems, trail builders and lots of local bike shops in Kansas City. I can’t want to see the next wave of little riders getting outside!”
