Overview:

The Strider Education Foundation, a nonprofit organization, is seeking a Program Support Coordinator to join our team. This position will play a crucial role in supporting the efficient operations of the organization’s two programs:  the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride Program and the All Abilities Bike Inclusive Learn-to-Ride Program. Tasks will include managing communications with schools/organizations to gain interest in programs, processing program applications, and assisting with administrative support. This position requires a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication and multitasking skills.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for our mission of teaching individuals how to ride a bike, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and a desire to be a member of an awesome team doing great things!

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Logistics Management:
    • Lead the oversight of the All Abilities Learn-to-Ride Inclusive Program
    • Coordinate and oversee the logistics of reaching out to schools to gain their interest in the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride Program and the All Abilities Bike Inclusive Learn-to-Ride Program.
    • Ensure a timely and accurate process of receiving applications, providing training access, and processing program orders.
    • Collaborate with other team members on the need for school reach outs for donor funded programs and activation reveal moments.
  • Administrative Support:
    • Handle incoming calls, emails, and correspondence.
    • Prepare and edit documents, reports, and presentations.
    • Ability to research a variety of topics and gather relevant data.
    • Assist with special projects.
  • Communication:
    • Demonstrate a variety of customer relations talents (face to face, written, on the phone, or digital).
    • Sales of programs and curriculum from both inbound and existing leads.

Qualifications:

  • Have a proven history of successful relationship management.
  • Highly proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook) and Project Management Software.
  • Self-confident, self-directed, forward thinking and detail oriented.
  • Be a willing learner with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, react to inbound inquiries, and accurately record or document actions.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with our team, educators, prospects, and others with a positive and enthusiastic manner.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask a variety of outgoing and incoming directives
  • Interest and compassion to interact with Inclusive Program potential audiences within the communities of Special Olympics, Down Syndrome Society, Autism Society

Physical Demands:

  • Able to lift, carry, and move items up to 30 lbs.
  • Able to sit or stand for extended periods of time using a phone, computer keyboard and monitor.
  • Willing to assist with some after hour/weekend events.

Location and Hours:

  • This position is in Rapid City, SD.
  • Regular office hours are Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm and Friday 8am to noon.

Pay:

  • $17.31 – $21.15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications.
  • This position reports to the Executive Director.
  • This is a full time, hourly non-exempt position and qualifies for a benefits package that includes paid time off, sick leave, health benefit stipend, and an extensive list of perks.
