Matt Wilson is a Kansas City resident with a passion for cycling. Matt is on a mission to get more kids riding bikes in the Kansas City area.
Matt has been riding mountain bikes for 20+ years. He also rides sometimes on the road for fun. Matt has participated with Team in Training for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS). Several years ago with this program he trained with a local Kansas City group and rode his first century ride around Lake Tahoe. Matt has done other charity bike events to raise money for the Kansas City Girls on the Run program. He belongs to a local cycling team called the Warthogs. This group participates in bike events to benefit The American Diabetes Association (ADA). Matt enjoys connecting with other local cyclists.
“I am excited to get more kids outside within our communities. Our Kansas City cycling community continues to grow on and off the trails. We have many trail systems, trail builders and lots of local bike shops in Kansas City. I can’t want to see the next wave of little riders getting outside!”
