Over a BMX racing career that spanned 27 years and took him from a neighborhood kid in Napa, CA, to Olympic Bronze Medalist at the Beijing Olympics, Donny Robinson has achieved virtually everything there is to accomplish in the sport. Always the underdog, and still the favorite of fans around the world, Donny proved that iron-clad tenacity and “heart” is the key to conquering any challenge. When Donny decided to retire from competition at the end of 2016, he combined the lessons learned on the track, and his love for working with kids, for creating BMX Racing League, an innovative program to bring new riders into the sport and advocate for getting kids back on bikes. His rallying cry “How Far Can Two Wheels Take You?” is also the subject of a popular in-school lecture series.
