Steve was deeply honored to be asked and serve as an Ambassador for All Kids Bike. Steve started his passion for motorcycles at a young age, riding and racing dirt bikes. In 1976 he and his father built his first old school chopper, which kicked off the opening of Reed’s Customs Bike Shop in their hometown of Flora, Ind. With a Mechanical Engineering degree from Purdue University and throughout his 25-year career at Procter & Gamble, Steve continued building custom bikes, riding, often taking weeks-long road trips, coordinating local rides, and expanding his support of charities throughout the country
In 2012 Steve opened Steve’s Garage in Wilder, Ky., to continue his passion for building motorcycles. Steve is now semi-retired but continues to build a few custom bikes each year while increasing his focus on charities such as All Kids Bikes, Cops and Kids Christmas, Flying Pistons, Motorcycle Missions, and Bikers Against Bullies. Steve was flattered to be invited as a custom builder of the 2019 Strider Custom Bike Build and looks forward to promoting the encouragement and support of young riders.
