William J. Davis, Ph.D. is the Head of the Health and Physical Education Department at Athens State University in Athens, Ala. His educational background consists of a B.S. in Biology and a B.S.Ed. in Biology, a M.Ed. in Health and Physical Education and a Ph.D. in Kinesiology.
Fall 2020 will be Davis’ fourth year at Athens State, with two years of previous professor experience at a different institution. He has taught subject matter at the elementary, middle, and high school levels in health and education, as well as middle school science, biology and chemistry. Davis holds state certifications in all of those areas as well.
