In addition to his role on the board, Jack is also the current President/CEO of Black Hills Community Bank with locations in Rapid City and Spearfish, S.D.
Jack has lived in South Dakota his entire life and has been managing banks in the Black Hills for 30 years. Since 1995, Jack has been the lead in three startup banks: Rushmore State Bank & Trust in Spearfish, BankWest in Rapid City, and most recently, the Black Hills Community Bank founded in 2009.
Jack enjoys spending time with family and serving the needs of the Black Hills area. His community involvement includes current and past board service with Black Hills Special Olympics, South Dakota Special Olympics, Rapid City Regional Hospital, South Dakota Parks and Wildlife Foundation, Game Fish & Parks Black Hills Outdoor Campus, South Dakota Children’s Home Society Foundation, Children’s Hospital, Rapid City Downtown Association, Arrowhead Country Club, Spearfish Lions Club, Spearfish Optimist Club, Spearfish Economic Development, Lookout Memorial Hospital, and Matthews Opera House. He has also coached Spearfish Boys Youth Basketball, Baseball, and Soccer and Spearfish Girls Youth Basketball and Soccer.
